BOUNCED FAQ
WHEN DOES THE DOOR OPEN AGAIN?
A new rule every night at midnight in your time zone. Everyone gets the same rule for the same date.
WHY DID A REPEAT NOT COUNT?
Saying a word again, or a plural, -ing or -ed form of a word you already said, never counts. Neither do words the bouncer has never heard of.
WHAT IS A RED HERRING?
On some nights the two starting words share an obvious theme that has nothing to do with the rule. Don’t fall for it.
HOW IS MY SCORE COUNTED?
Your score is the number of counted tries it took to get in. The starting words don’t count. Fewer is better.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER 40 TRIES?
Last call: the door shuts and the bouncer tells you the rule.
IS THERE SOUND?
Short pixel blips, off until you switch them on with the speaker button. Every sound also has a visual.
DO PAST NIGHTS COUNT TOWARD MY STREAK?
No. Past nights count toward your stats but never your streak.
DO I NEED AN ACCOUNT?
No. Stats are saved on this device.
